April Means Easter, & Easter Means Eggs!

April is here and, aside from corny jokes on the 1st, it's a month that continues the natural progress that began in March.

From flowers coming into bloom and nature truly waking up from what was, let’s face it, a dark and bitterly cold winter, to the sun forcing the rain clouds away for…5 minutes, at least…April is truly the time when life starts to feel brighter.

But, it's so much more than that...

This year, April also hosts one of our favourite holidays!

Now, we don't love it because of the chocolate, although who doesn't love an actual reason to eat their body weights worth? No, we love it because of the emphasis it puts on one of our favourite, and perhaps underrated, foods back on the map.

The humble egg.

No, not the chocolatey kind, the chicken kind...

...perfectly hard boiled...

...wrapped in delicious, perfectly seasoned sausage meat...

...breaded, and fried to perfection...

...the ultimate way to enjoy your eggs, and, the product that started us off.

For us, the winner will always be the Fabulous Scotch egg, and, with that in mind, be sure - whilst you're indulging in enough chocolate to sink the Titanic - to just take a moment and admire, and appreciate, the humble egg...and perhaps grab one of our tasty specials too, whilst you're at it!
