In November, Sussex comes alive!

Remembrance Day
Bonfire Night
Maybe a sprinkling of snow
As the year rattles on by, we have reached the month that Sussex is known for.
November.
(Specifically the fifth of November, except on Sundays...obviously...)
Every year thousands flock to the usually peaceful town of Lewes to celebrate the day Guy Fawkes, the only man ever to enter Parliament with honest intentions, was caught red-handed attempting to detonate barrels of dynamite and overthrow the king.
Being in the heart of Sussex we know that this is an incredible evening full of laughter, celebration and best of all, fireworks!
At Nelly's farm we love the celebrations, but we're well aware that to make the most of the evening ahead, you need a hearty, warming meal to ensure that you aren't distracted by the often bitter chill that whips through the narrow streets of Lewes.
Now, if only there was a local company making filling, warming and delicious pies that are the perfect preparation for such an occasion!
Look no further, we've got you covered.
Our pies feature crispy, buttery pastry which inside house lashings of rich, wholesome fillings perfect for the whole family - we've even got your veggie customers covered.
Perfect in minutes and only requiring a tasty garnish, these are the perfect meal for when you don't fancy cooking, but do fancy filling up before the big night!
However you celebrate, make sure you're full to the brim and ready to go!
(A little extra, for those that have made it this far, in the coming weeks we’ll be welcoming our seasonal specials, so keep your eyes glued to our social media pages to keep up with all things Nelly’s)
