June Round-Up at Nelly’s Farm

June has been another fantastic month here at Nelly’s Farm, packed with events, new additions, and exciting developments on the farm.

One of the highlights was attending West’s Wood Fair in West Sussex. It’s a date we have circled every year, and it was wonderful to meet so many people who stopped by to chat, learn more about our farm, and share their enthusiasm for local food and farming. Thank you to everyone who came to see us!

Additionally, new event added this year, was Open Farm Sunday, hosted by Berries on Tap. Events like these are a fantastic opportunity to connect the public with British farming and showcase the hard work that goes into producing high-quality local food. It was great to see so many families enjoying a day on the farm and asking thoughtful questions about who were are and what we do.

Back on the farm, we’ve also been enjoying some exciting additions to our livestock. If you’ve been following along on our Instagram, you’ll already have seen our farm updates including fun with the pigs as well as Hugh, the latest addition to our chicken flock. They’ve certainly been keeping us busy and bringing plenty of smiles to our faces whenever we leave the kitchen.
